Eden Phone Support
Eden Phone is the official VoIP phone application for Gardens of Eden staff. It allows you to make and receive calls using your office extension directly from your iPhone.
Getting Started
To set up Eden Phone on your device:
- Download Eden Phone from the App Store.
- Open the app and sign in with your Microsoft work account, or enter your SIP extension and password manually.
- Allow the app to access your microphone and send notifications when prompted.
- Your extension will register automatically — you're ready to make and receive calls.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I receive calls when the app is closed?
Eden Phone uses VoIP push notifications to wake the app when you receive a call, even if the app is closed or your phone is locked. Make sure notifications are enabled in your iPhone Settings.
Can I use the app on Wi-Fi and mobile data?
Yes. Eden Phone works on both Wi-Fi and mobile data connections. For the best call quality, a stable Wi-Fi connection is recommended.
Does the app work on iPad?
Eden Phone is designed for iPhone. iPad support is not available at this time.
How do I check my call history?
Open the app and navigate to the Recents tab to see your incoming, outgoing, and missed calls.
Can I transfer or hold a call?
Yes. During an active call, you can use the hold button to place the call on hold. Transfer functionality is available through the PBX system.
Troubleshooting
I'm not receiving incoming calls
Check that notifications are enabled for Eden Phone in Settings > Notifications. Also verify that your extension shows as "Registered" in the app's Settings page. If the issue persists, try signing out and signing back in.
Call quality is poor or choppy
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Switch to Wi-Fi if you're on mobile data. Close other apps that may be using significant bandwidth. If the problem continues, try moving closer to your Wi-Fi router.
The app shows "Registration Failed"
Verify your SIP credentials are correct. Check your internet connection. If using a VPN, try disconnecting it. You can also try re-registering from Settings > Diagnostics > Re-register SIP.
No audio during calls
Make sure Eden Phone has microphone permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone. Check that your device is not in Silent mode and the volume is turned up.

- SIP extension credentials provided by your IT department

- Notification permission enabled (for incoming calls)
